Booking a Free Initial Online Consultation
You’ll notice on my Session Details page that there’s an option to book a 30 minute initial Zoom consultation call for a wedding photography session. This is complimentary. I want us to have a chance to get to get to know each other, even a tiny bit, before we lock it in. Apart from your partner, I’m the person who you’re going to spend the most time with on your wedding day. Crazy, right? I want to make sure that we gel and that I can be a uplifting presence on your, unique, wedding day.
We can also get into the details of the actual day and what you are looking for so that we can make sure you've chosen the right package for what you need. I’ll answer any questions that you have so you can leave the call knowing that you’ve got everything you need to make a decision about your wedding day photographer.
Getting to Know You
If you decide to book me as your wedding day photographer, I’ll reach out with an in-depth questionnaire within 48 hours of you submitting your deposit. I’ll make sure you get this as soon as you book because I know you’ve got a lot on your plate - the last thing you want to be doing is filling out questionnaire details a week before your wedding day. I want to know the practical details - what kind of group photographs do you want? Do you have any sentimental items that you want photographed? What time will hair and makeup start? But also to get a real sense of what the journey of your relationship has been, what you want your wedding day photographs to convey and feel like. What's your vision for the day?
Organised and Prepared
I’ll make sure that I’m across the plan for the entire day. What time does the ceremony start? What time do we need to leave to arrive on time? I'll bring a level of organisation and detail to everything so it all runs smoothly and I can field any questions on the day, rather than you having to deal with them!
If I haven’t been to your wedding venue before, I’ll make sure I get there before your big day. If your venue is in the South East Queensland region, I’ll do a trip out there in advance.
If your venue is out of the South East Queensland region, I’ll travel in a day early so that I'll have a chance to check it out. I’ll aim to be there at the same time as your ceremony so I can get a sense of what the light at the venue looks like exactly when we’ll be there on the big day. I want your day to go smoothly so I’ll always have seen your venue before your wedding day.
There’s a whole world between clicking ‘book now’ and it actually being your wedding day. I’ll be available for anything photography-related that you need between the moment you book through to your wedding day.
